Not just harder, but more useful.
I was working on a much longer article, but luckily, Clay Guida went and got Sherdog to take pictures of him from my best tip. If you've been following his career, the guy is relentless from minute 1 to minute 15 of the fight and has been ever since he was slamming fools in Indiana.
But let's just pretend that he didn't do that for a second.
There are the old standbys - add more weight/reps/time. Those are definitely excellent methods of progress, but those will only help to a point - eventually, you'll be using different energy pathways than what you'll need in a fight.
Work the bags and do your conditioning exercises with your mouthguard in.
Everything suddenly becomes a lot harder. It's a wonderful tool for "forcing" you to stay relaxed and making sure that you're breathing.
